This organically grown bean comes from the Chacon Estate in the Las Lajas Central Valley of Costa Rica. Organic coffee is less common in Costa Rica, but this third-generation farmer insists on it. This coffee’s amazing taste is the result of the rich soil of the nearby Poás Volcano and the dedicated growers who are meticulous about maximizing quality and taste through best practice harvesting and processing. The honey process they use for dappling the coffee cherries uses less water and ensures the sweet taste of this delicious coffee. They are one of our favorite coffee producers—innovative while honoring tradition, focused on repeatable quality without sacrificing craftsmanship, and laser-focused on growing great coffee.

A medium-light roast, this coffee has a buttery texture and floral aroma. The honey, caramel, and molasses flavors give this single-origin bean a unique taste that people can't get enough of. Excellent in any brewing format, it’s one of our favorites.
